<strong>GUJARAT</strong> <strong>STATE</strong><strong>CHEMICAL</strong> <strong>DISASTER</strong><strong>MANAGEMENT</strong> <strong>PLAN</strong>REFERANCE NO.: GSDMA/2013/01 10 JUNE 2013PROJECT TEAMThis project was commissioned by GSDMA to PRESTELS (Mumbai). PRESTELS partnered with IEM, Inc (USA) and NEERMAN (Mumbai) aswell as several eminent national and international consultants to execute the project.Dr Ranjit Bannerji, CEO, GSDMA led the project from GSDMA and provided overall policy guidance. The technical team membersat GSDMA – Shri VN Patel (Industrial Advisor) and Shri Nisarg Dave (Sector Manager) – were instrumental in technical review andcollaboration with PRESTELS on the project. The Project Management Unit at GSDMA supported in project management, contracting andcommunication tasks.The Technical Team Leader was Lt Gen Dr. JR Bhardwaj, MD DCP PhD FICP FAMS FRC Pathology (London), Ex-Member NDMA. Mr. KC Gupta(Former Director General of NSC and DGFASLI) was the Chemical & Industrial Emergency & Response Planning Expert.Mr Sumeet Patil (Research Director at NEERMAN and Principal Consultant at PRESTELS) was the project director on behalf of PRESTELS.Mr Wayne Thomas, Ms Angela Nelson, and Mr John Steinauer of IEM, Inc (USA) extensively collaborated with PRESTELS as a part of IEM,Inc (USA). Other consultants and staff from PRESTELS and IEM who supported the project include Dr George Abraham, Mr Don Broughton,Mr Louis Carrow, Ms Brinda Iyer, Mr Surendar Kumar, Dr Ajay Madgaokar, Mr AK Mhaskar, Mr Prakash Patil, Mr AB Pote, Dr GV Rao, Mr GaryScronce, Dr Steven A.
