Junewas a nice month for an autocross, but the sitewas not available. Skipping over the hot andbusy months of July and August, we come toSeptember, in which I am happy to say wewill have a double-header event on September10 and 11. Mark your calendars now. Thisevent promises to be a good one!If you have not participated in an autocrossevent before, don’t miss out. If youhaven’t slid your Porsche around a corner orfigured out exactly when the ABS activates,you should definitely come out to drive.The events are safe and run on a wide-openparking lot at the fairgrounds in Stockton.The course provides plenty of space andopportunity to drive without fear of hittinganything. For first timers, the Club has experiencedinstructors who have volunteeredto teach you how to negotiate the course successfully.It only takes a few runs to see yourtimes start dropping.
