Whether you have a stock 80" or the most outrageous big inch enginewith a radical cam and spring combination, S&S tappets are built to take it.FITMENT• 1984–‘99 big twins• S&S V-Series enginesFEATURES AND BENEFITS• Larger inner bearing race reduces stresses to increase axle, rollers, and roller life. The S&Sinner bearing race is .123" larger in diameter than the "raceless" roller axles currently usedby some manufacturers.• Improved inner race-roller design allows use of more, and larger bearings to increase loadcarryingsurface area, further reducing stress and wear in the critical roller area.• Redesigned plunger assembly better withstands forces associated with heavy-duty valvesprings and cams typically used in high-performance applications.• Improved metering device precisely controls oil delivery to top end, ensuring rapid lifterpump-up and reducing possibility of oil starvation to bottom end.• Each lifter body and plunger assembly is selective-fit and then leak down tested to ensurecorrect operation.OPTIONSTappets are available with the HL 2T Limited Travel Kit for improved cold starts and high rpmvalve timing accuracy.KIT CONTENTS• Four hydraulic tappetsS&S ®Hydraulic Lifter Limited Travel Spacer (HL2T)Designed to limit the range of travel of the hydraulic tappet plunger in Evolution® engines, HL 2Tspacers do not allow the tappets to collapse, meaning both high rpm performance and startingare improved.
