Connecting to the electrical power supplyTo connect the <strong>2414</strong> refractive index detector to the AC power supply1. Plug the receptacle end of the power cord into the AC power inputreceptacle on the rear panel of the detector (see the figure on page 2-4).2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded AC power source.For information about the remaining rear panel electrical connections, seeChapter 3, “Connecting Signal Cables”.Connecting tubing and attachmentsWarning: To avoid chemical hazards, always observe GoodLaboratory Practices when handling solvents.
