CH.3 – 62]CIVIL AVIATION(e) (i) the name and address of every person whois entitled as owner to a legal interest in theaircraft or a share therein, or, in the case ofan aircraft which is the subject of a charterby demise, the name and address of thecharterer by demise; and(ii) in the case of an aircraft registered inpursuance of paragraph (4) or (5) of thisregulation, an indication that it is soregistered.(8) <strong>The</strong> Minister shall furnish to the person inwhose name the aircraft is registered (hereinafter in thisregulation referred to as “the registered owner”) acertificate of registration, which shall include theparticulars specified in paragraph (7) and the date on whichthe certificate was issued.(9) <strong>The</strong> Minister may grant to any person qualifiedunder paragraph (3) an aircraft dealer’s certificate if theMinister is satisfied that such person has a place ofbusiness in <strong>The</strong> <strong>Bahamas</strong> for buying and selling aircraft.(10) Subject to paragraphs (4) and (5), if at any timeafter an aircraft has been registered in <strong>The</strong> <strong>Bahamas</strong> anunqualified person becomes entitled to a legal or beneficialinterest by way of ownership in the aircraft or a sharetherein, the registration of the aircraft shall thereuponbecome void and the certificate of registration shallforthwith be returned by the registered owner to theMinister.(11) Any person who is the registered owner of anaircraft registered in <strong>The</strong> <strong>Bahamas</strong> shall inform theMinister forthwith in writing of —(a) any change in the particulars which werefurnished to the Minister upon application beingmade for the registration of the aircraft;(b) the destruction of the aircraft, or its permanentwithdrawal from use; or(c) in the case of an aircraft registered in pursuanceof paragraph (5), the termination of the demisecharter.(12) Any person who becomes the owner of anaircraft registered in <strong>The</strong> <strong>Bahamas</strong> shall within twentyeightdays thereof inform the Minister in writing to thateffect.STATUTE LAW OF THE BAHAMAS LRO 1/2002
