Animal Training in ITBPAt NTCDA, Bhanu, dog training has beencontinuously refi ned to produce a highly sophisticatedand versatile extension of the soldier's own senses.Even the most complex machines remain unable toduplicate the operational effectiveness of a properlytrained dog. The dog's unique capabilities are used byITBP to very broadly encompass the following areas.a. Secure human life, installation and property.b. Help enforce laws .c. Increase the effectiveness of the combat support.Recently NTCDA has purchased 40 pups. In afew months these seemingly dainty babies will undergotheir basic training and advanced training in explosivedetection. These babies will be at the cutting-edge ofour national security apparatus.Budding friends of soldiersPups at NTCDA basking in the winter sunAnimal TransportMules carrying ration to BOPs in LehAllotment of General Pool residential Accommodation toITBP Personnel at Allahabad139 units of residential accommodations for a period of 5 years in various categories have beenplaced at the disposal of ITBP at Allahabad by Directorate of Estates.There are 50 Type-I Quarters and 89 Type- II Quarters.
