For this to happen, you have to get actively involved and take ownership ofthe Association individually and as a 'force'.HWWA has grown in strength and stature and has come out of the closet. We are now in the publicdomain and our every small activity is being noticed. We are being talked about in the same breath inhigh profile magazines like 'Society' & Femina' and vernacular news papers like 'Hindustan' & 'AmarUjala'. We have to step up the pace further with a sharp focus on our deliverables. Are you ready ?I would like to share here that recently I had written to the widows and families of those ITBP personnelwho had lost their lives while in Service. There is an overflow of replies. The families are sharing theirproblems which I am bringing to the DG's notice for help and rectification. Some of the families arewriting back only to say that they are touched that the Force is concerned about them. Please extend aspecial helping hand to all such families near you. They need our support and hand holding.24th January is the HWWA Raising Day. My compliments to all of you in advance.
