The present building wasdeclared open on 17 March 2001.better health-care to the patients. In the ongoing processof upgradation and modernization, procurement of amodern Dental unit, computed Radiography system,Anaesthesia work station, Phaco-emulsifier andmodernization, procurement of a modern Dental Phacoemulsifier and other equipment is already in advancedstages and will be available shortly for the benefit of ourpersonnel and their families.Posting of specialists, including appointment oncontractual basis, and providing them with in-servicetraining was initiated and implemented.The Operation theatre has been modernised andnumerous surgeries are now being conducted at thisHospital.Eye surgery at Base HospitalSince the last year, in view of the fastdevelopingscenario of Medical science, a need was feltto upgrade the Base Hospital. Towards this end, latestmodern medical equipment like Multi-para monitors,Cardiac Defibrillators, Haematology Analyser, Semi-Auto Analyser, Foetal Doppler, Pulse Oxymeters,Oxygen concentrators, Pharmacy freezers, Auto-Refractometer, Electro-cautery machine, etc. havealready been procured and being utilized for providingRenovation of Conference hall at Base HospitalITBP Patrika 38 January - 2010
