The Journal Spring 2012 Events & programs Business Luncheon to feature Gorell & Strickland Two current legislators from the area, both of whom are running in this year’s election, will discuss California business issues at the 13th annual Business & Legislators Forum, Friday, May 18, at Spanish Hills Country Club. Presentations will be from Senator Tony Strickland who is currently running for Congress to fill the seat being vacated by Elton Gallegly serving the 24th Congressional District, and from Assemblyman Jeff Gorell who is seeking reelection to his seat serving the 37th Assembly District in the California State Assembly. Check-in for the event begins at 11:00 AM on May 18. The luncheon and program are from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m..
