Generalisation and carryover activities shouldonly be used if the child can already say the target sounds in words. How to implementgeneralisation and carryover activities is described in Chapter 15, and activities to usefor each error pattern are provided on the CD.The activities are designed to be easy to implement in the classroom, often as part ofthe daily routine or curriculum. The child is more likely to remember to modify theirspeech patterns if given many reminders throughout the day.76
