For the smaller actuators, small woodenstrips were used to ensure rigid mounting. The actuator horns were connected to horns onpotentiometers using clevises. The potentiometers <strong>of</strong>fered little to no load resistance. Themechanical apparatus can be seen in Figure 3.19.- 57 -
