SIN DESCRIPTIONSSIN 541-1 ADVERTISING SERVICESServices required under this SIN promote publicawareness and public education of Federal Governmentprograms and services and provide outdoor marketingservices that will promote agencies' marketing, media,and public information efforts. Types of services includebut are not limited to: pamphlets, magazines, booklets,brochures, leaflets, newsletters, newspaperadvertisements, and catalogs. Other services mayinclude constructing, repairing, and maintaining displays.Typical tasks include but are not limited to: paintingand/or electronic displays, posters, billboards, banners,bulletins, tear cards, balloons, skywriting, and bumperstickers. Promotional items such as key chains and othermiscellaneous business services not elsewhereclassified may be required. Site locations services mayinclude but are not limited to all manner of transit such asbuses to include exterior and interior panels, train andsubway stations, taxi tops, truck trailers and airportdisplays and kiosks.SIN 541-2 PUBLIC RELATIONS SERVICESServices required under this SIN include customizedmedia and public relations services to include thedevelopment of media messages and strategies. Otherservices may include recommending media sources forplacement of campaigns. Typical tasks under this SINinvolve preparing media materials including but notlimited to background materials, press releases, mediaalerts, speeches, presentations, and press kits.Execution of media services may include pressconferences, distribution of press materials, schedulingbroadcast and/or print interviews, and media buyingservices such as instantaneous satellite services asrequired.SIN 541-4B VIDEO/FILM PRODUCTIONServices required under this SIN may include videotapeand film production services in order to inform the publicand Government agencies about the latest products,services, and/or issues. Typical associated videotapeand film production tasks include but are not limited to:writing, directing, shooting, arranging for talent, narration,music and sound effects, duplication, distribution, videoscoring and editing. The required formats in which to filmor duplicate may include but are not limited to: 16mmfilm, 35mm film, Betacam, CD-ROM, DVD, and/or VHS.The tasks may require filming in studios, on location, liveshows, and/or events.SIN 541-4C EXHIBIT DESIGN ANDIMPLEMENTATION SERVICESServices required under this SIN may includearrangements for exhibits in various venues,conceptualizing, designing, and producing exhibits andtheir accompanying materials. Typical tasks under thisSIN involve providing and/or making recommendationsfor carpet and padding installation for exhibit property, aswell as preview set-up and dismantling of exhibitproperty. Cleaning, prepping, storing exhibit property forfuture use and Shipping exhibit property to and fromdesignated site(s) may also be included under SIN 541-C. An additional component of exhibit design, which maybe evaluated separately, is Media and ExhibitIllumination Services. In support of exhibit design andimplementation, Media and Exhibit Illumination Servicesare not required to perform Exhibit Design Services andvice versa.SIN 541-5 INTEGRATED MARKETINGSERVICESServices required under this SIN may include thecreation of comprehensive solutions using strategicallytargeted marketing tactics that may include media plansand creative multimedia execution of campaigns. Otherservices may include radio, television, public servicesannouncements, outdoor advertising, web site designand maintenance, commercial art/graphic design,photography, trade shows/exhibits and conference andevents planning, direct mail, market research, press andpublic relations, and videotape and film production.NOTE: SIN 541-5 may not be used to fulfill individualrequirements that are covered separately by other SINsin this Schedule. SIN 541-5 may only be used to fulfillcomprehensive agency requirements that span multipleservices offerings from the Schedule.SIN 541-1000 OTHER DIRECT COSTSAuthorized users shall procure ODCs only in support ofGDIT’s overall advertising and integrated marketingservices effort.
