Terms & ConditionsContinued…SERVICE CHARGE & TERMSAll services are subject to applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. All food andbeverage is subject to an 18% service charge. 12% HST Tax applies to all food,beverages, liquor, services, service charges and room rental(s).ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGESAll alcoholic beverages are to be supplied by the B.G.G.C. All corkage events arerespectfully declined. This complies with British Columbia Liquor Laws stating thatbeverages cannot be brought into or taken out of a licensed establishment.CASH & HOST BARSA bartender fee of $20.00 per hour will apply (minimum of 4 hours) to any barsetup with sales of less than $500.00, where applicable.HEALTH REGULATIONSHealth regulations and the Provincial Liquor Act prohibit the removal of food oralcohol during or after a function by the organizer or guests.FUNCTION ROOMB.G.G.C. reserves the right to provide an alternate function space that is best suitedfor the group should the number of guests differ from the contracted number.ON SITE CEREMONIESOn site ceremonies are available inside and outside the clubhouse and are subjectto a charge ($200.00 for inside ceremonies, $100.00 for outside ceremonies).DECORATINGThe B.G.G.C. catering department must approve any signage or decorations beforethey are displayed. The use of nails, tacks or any other damaging hanging deviceis strictly prohibited as is the use of confetti. A $200.00 charge will be levied forthe cleanup of any confetti or confetti-like decorations. Please be advised that thetimes designated on your contract are politely enforced. All decorations anddecorators must be vacated no later than one hour past the designated end time.A surcharge of $200.00 for every hour, or portion thereof, past the designatedtime will be charged. If staff is required to remove chair covers following an event,a surcharge of $1.00 per chair will be applied. B.G.G.C. reserves the right tocharge accordingly for any broken items or damages to the clubhouse. B.G.G.C. isnot responsible for any decorations/items left behind following an event.
