6.2.5 TASKS FOR ALL EOCSControl Room/EOC works as the nerve centre for all emergency events & disasters, and is the hubof all activities. The principal role involves collection of data, analysis & dissemination ofinformation to relevant organizations. Thus, it can also be called as Information Centre. Adjudicate conflicting, claims and /or request for emergency personnel, equipment, andother resources Designate responsibilities and duties, as necessary to maintain the optimal use ofresources Provide operating units with requested resources for sustained operations Maintain documentation of resource allocation and availability Collect the information about the vulnerable areas. Data related to disaster should be shared with all the line departments & otherorganization. Assessment of damage in disaster prone areas. To collect all the related information of different Government schemes for smoothmanagement‐ normal perios & during emergency.
