Ascertain the payload to be fitted to the pedestal (payload = pan <strong>and</strong> tilt head, camera, lens <strong>and</strong><br />

any other ancillary equipment). Referring to the balance graph (Fig. 4) mark the payload on the<br />

horizontal axis, then strike a vertical line from the load figure to the balance line. At the<br />

intersecting point strike a horizontal line to the vertical axis <strong>and</strong> read off the required pressure.<br />

The pedestal pressure must not exceed 7.2 bar (105 psi), check the pressure before fitting the<br />

pan <strong>and</strong> tilt head (refer to Fitting the load on page 21 for more details).<br />
