The book gives informationon the contents of the collections of the Imperial Council,the Imperial Registry, the Sublime Porte, Yıldız Palace, thedifferent departments of the State, the provincial archives;the third section describes the collections of maps, albumsand photographs, collections transferred from personalarchives and catalogues of documents contained in archiveswithin and outside Turkey. The fourth section describesthe administrative structure of the Directorate General ofState Archives and the rules to be followed while doingresearch in the archives.
