This album contains 122photographs nearly half of which were displayed on thatoccasion. The photographs were selected from the YıldızPalace collection contained in IRCICA’s archives and datingfrom late 19th and early 20th centuries. Grouped in sixteenchapters, they include views of the city of Sana’a, its quarters,official buildings, hospitals, pharmacies, post offices,schools, Hudeyde and other cities, scenes of city life andrural life, castles, lighthouses, and photographs of governors,scholars and soldiers.IRCICA PUBLICATIONS 1980-2012 33
