Kulifay earns Connelly Scholarship: Michael Kulifay,valedictorian of the senior class, earned the PatrickConnelly Leadership Scholarship, given annually to a Badinstudent who will attend Miami University and has been adifference-maker at BHS. The scholarship is awarded inhonor of the late Patrick Connelly ’73. On hand for the presentation were members of the Pate family, includingPatti Pate Gray ’80, Danny’s sister; his mother, Barb Schuster Pate ’58; Karen Pate BrowningReed ‘84, his sister; and Badin faculty member Rick Pate ’03, his nephew. Danny Pate ‘88, asocial studies teacher in the Hamilton City School District, passed away in the summer of 2012.
