C. – Environment• All the land are open/ vacant Government land, hence no land acquisition is needed• In few cases trees need to be cut for construction of SRs. Compensatory afforestation will berequired• Cutting of scrub is essential in few cases• No cutting and filling of earth is required for construction of water reservoirs.• There is no water body is located nearby the proposed project location except HLCat 2 locations.• Reservoirs are located nearby the residential areas.• In few cases educational institutes and religious places are located nearby the projectlocations- specific mitigation measures will be applied during implementation of the project4.4 Possible Environmental Impact and Mitigation Measuresa.
