WARD FEEDBACKWard feedback was received through ward development plans in which community needs and priorities werelisted. The aim was to identify and capture issues raises by the community in terms of general, <strong>Msukaligwa</strong>-widedevelopment areas and ward specific issues.All issues identified were discussed in terms of:- departmental responsibility- the strategy required to address the issue (general / ward specific)- the feasibility of the identified projects (should / can)- the alignment with other stakeholders (horizontal / vertical)Following the workshop, the assessment information has been made available to the HOD’s and they wereafforded the opportunity to:- integrated the identified projects and programmes with existing strategies;- to adjust existing strategies where necessary;- to identify and develop new programmes and projects;- to re-prioritize programmes and plans.The processed community needs and issues are being captured in the 2007/<strong>2008</strong> IDP as amended strategies andplans or extended and new projects.<strong>Co</strong>nclusionIn compliance with the Municipal System Act, 2000 the <strong>Msukaligwa</strong> <strong>Municipality</strong> realise the importance of thecommunity taking part in the development of the Integrated Development Plan.
