Beach Parking Stickers Parking stickers go on sale April 2 nd . Parking stickers are required for access andparking to the three town beaches beginning onSaturday, May 26 th Parking stickers must be permanently affixed tothe vehicle windshield, and sticker number mustmatch vehicle license plate. Residents/taxpayers are eligible to purchaseseasonal parking stickers for each registeredvehicle in the household. Non-Residents may purchase a daily parkingpasses only. Parking stickers are available at the RecreationOffice in Town Hall – Monday through Friday8:30am-4pm. Daily parking tags are sold at the Recreationoffice, and also during the summer months atthe main gate of the Surf Club Beach. Residents may purchase daily guest parkingtags in advance at the Recreation DepartmentOffices. Parking stickers and daily tags may also berequested by mail. Along with your requestplease include a photo-copy of your license, carregistration and tax bill, check made payable to“Town of <strong>Madison</strong>”, and a self addressedstamped envelope. Staff will process mail inrequests as time permits. Please allow at leastone week turnaround time if requesting passesby mail. See our current prices on the Town of<strong>Madison</strong> Website – www.madisonct.org and lookunder departments – Beach and Recreation.Boat Rack, Day Sailors, and CatamaranStorage RenewalBoat rack, day sailor, and catamaran storage renewalswill be accepted until March 31, <strong>2012</strong>. Renewals are forpersons who had a storage spot last season. Fees are$90 for boat racks (two kayaks may be placed on onerack for an additional $45), $140 for daysailers, and$220 for catamarans. Renewal applications will be sentto 2010 renters. If you do not receive a renewal notice,please contact the Recreation Office by March 31st.Upgrade Your RackRack owners who wish to upgrade their renewed rackmay request to have their name placed on an upgradelist. You must renew your previous rack prior torequesting an upgrade.Boat Rack, Days Sailers andHobie Cat Storage For New RentalsAny person desiring to rent a rack or storage space maycall the Recreation Office to place their name on awaiting list. The Recreation Office Staff will contactpeople in number sequence should space becomeavailable following the rack renewal period.Mooring Posts At West Wharf BeachApplications for a mooring post at West Wharf Beach areavailable at the Recreation Office and will be accepteduntil March 31, <strong>2012</strong>. A computer lottery spin will takeplace on April 8. Notification will follow thereafter.Applications are available at the Recreation Office or onour website at www.madisonrec.com, one applicationwill be accepted per family.
