Kempo Karate ClassesInstructor: Sensei John Escobales 1st DegreeBlackbeltAll students, regardless of age, will learn self-defenseand Kempo basics, such as self-respect, self control andself discipline. These basics will be learned throughmartial arts exercises and games that teach andenhance skills in coordination, balance, endurance,patience and confidence. Students should come to classprepared to learn and have fun!!Beginner – In the beginner class students under 13 willbe taught the three rules of Martial Arts: 1) SelfDiscipline 2) Self Control and 3) Respect. They will bedrilled each class on the rules and their definitions. Theywill also be introduced to a solid foundation of KempoKarate basic strikes, kicks, blocks and combinations.Testing is optional for an additional fee but NOTmandatory at the end of each session.Returning Students – The same as Beginner but withadded combinations and self defense techniques.Advanced Students – The advanced student programis a physical fitness and Mixed Martial Art class rooted inthe Kempo Karate foundations but with a heavy dose ofKrav Maga (Israeli Self Defense) techniques, drills andtheory.
