2012-2013 Scholarship recipientsThanks to the generosity of donors, synods, congregations,and foundations, approximately 80% ofLSTC students receive financial assistance throughscholarships. What you see here are the major scholarshipswe know about. What you DON’T see aremany other forms of assistance made directly tostudents from their congregations and synods andthe many endowed scholarship funds created byindividuals and congregations, such as the MargaretR. and Timothy R. Schoewe Scholarship featured onpage 22.Drew Yoos, a first year M.Div. student, receivedthis year’s Creative Teaching Ministry Grant forhis four-week Christian education curriculum,“Lutherevealed!” The curriculum is available todownload at www.lstc.edu/lifelong-learners/resources/curricula.php.The Creative Teaching MinistryGrant was established by Justin (2009, M.Div.) andKari Eller, who serve as ELCA missionaries in La Paz,Bolivia.The impact of all of these gifts is this: visionaryleaders being formed to bear witness to the goodnews of Jesus Christ. Munderloh FoundationThe Munderloh Foundation has provided over $100,000 in grants to 44 LSTC master of divinity students in 2012-2013.
