THE NATURE OF GOD AND CHRISTDoctrinal Study PaperMany scholars share the simple interpretation <strong>of</strong> John 1:1 that Jesus <strong>Christ</strong> is truly <strong>God</strong><strong>and</strong> was <strong>God</strong> in the flesh when He walked this earth. <strong>The</strong>se scholars are Trinitarian in theirbeliefs, <strong>and</strong> although we do not agree with the Trinity, we reach the same conclusion about John1:1 as they do.
