In front of Dr. van Etten is Bishop Alexander Mann, of theEpiscopal Diocfcse of Pittsburgh, and at Bishop Mann's left is Mr. John Frazier1921, from Calvary Church for the first time inhistory a church service was broadcasted byradio wireless by the Westinghouse& ElectricManufacturing Company. This tablet wasplaced (<strong>1923</strong>) by the Unseen Congregation."The words of H. P. Davis, Vice-President ofthe Westinghouse Company, made a deepimpression on the visible audience, as no doubtthey did on the unseen listeners miles away."Other cities have memorials, but Pittsburghis proud to be the first to broadcast byradio to the world her own religious worship,"declared Mr. Davis, "Pittsburghis furtherproud to have as a citizen Rev.
