الْحَمْدُ لل َّهِ رَب ِّ الْعَلَمِينَAll <strong>the</strong> praises and thanks be to Allah, <strong>the</strong> Lord <strong>of</strong>all <strong>that</strong> exits.Signs <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Power and Oneness <strong>of</strong> AllahAllah <strong>the</strong> exalted say;الل َّهُ ال َّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الل َّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالن َّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ...Allah, it is He Who has made <strong>the</strong> night for you <strong>that</strong> youmay rest <strong>the</strong>rein and <strong>the</strong> day for you to see.Allah reminds us <strong>of</strong> His grace towards His creationin <strong>that</strong> He has given <strong>the</strong>m <strong>the</strong> night in which <strong>the</strong>yrest and relax from <strong>the</strong>ir activities so <strong>that</strong> <strong>the</strong>ycan go back to <strong>the</strong>m for <strong>the</strong>ir livelihood during <strong>the</strong>day. He has given <strong>the</strong>m <strong>the</strong> day <strong>with</strong> its light, so<strong>that</strong> <strong>the</strong>y can undertake <strong>the</strong>ir journeys andengage in <strong>the</strong>ir business.إِن َّ الل َّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الن َّاسِ وَلَكِن َّ أَآْثَرَ الن َّاسِ لَا یَشْكُرُو َن ﴿٦١ ﴾Truly, Allah is full <strong>of</strong> bounty to mankind; yet, most <strong>of</strong>mankind give no thanks.means, <strong>the</strong>y do not express gratitude for <strong>the</strong>favors which Allah bestows upon <strong>the</strong>m.<strong>The</strong>n Allah says:......ذَلِكُمُ الل َّهُ رَب ُّكُمْ خَالِقُ آُل ِّ شَيْءٍ ل َّا إِلَهَ إِل َّا هُ َوThat is Allah, your Lord, <strong>the</strong> Creator <strong>of</strong> all things, Lailaha illa Huwa.means, <strong>the</strong> One Who does all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se things isAllah, <strong>the</strong> One, <strong>the</strong> Unique, <strong>the</strong> Creator <strong>of</strong> allthings, besides Whom <strong>the</strong>re is no o<strong>the</strong>r god orlord.77
