1 The Virtues of the Surahs that begin with Ha Mim

And Allah says:وَأَصْحَبُ‏ الش ِّمَالِ‏ مَآ أَصْحَبُ‏ الش ِّمَالِ‏87فِى سَمُومٍ‏ وَحَمِي ‏ٍموَظِل ٍّ م ِّن یَحْمُومٍ‏لا َّ بَارِدٍ‏ وَلاَ‏ آَرِیمٍ‏And those on the Left Hand -- how (unfortunate)will be those on the Left Hand? In fierce hot windand boiling water, and shadow of black smoke,(that shadow) neither cool nor (even) pleasant.Until,ثُم َّ إِن َّكُمْ‏ أَی ُّهَا الض َّآل ُّونَ‏ الْمُكَذ ِّبُونَ‏لاّآِلُونَ‏ مِن شَجَرٍ‏ م ِّن زَق ُّومٍ‏فَمَالُِونَ‏ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ‏فَشَرِبُونَ‏ عَلَيْهِ‏ مِنَ‏ الْحَمِيمِ‏فَشَرِبُونَ‏ شُرْبَ‏ الْهِيمِ‏هَذَا نُزُلُهُمْ‏ یَوْمَ‏ الد ِّینِ‏Then moreover, verily, -- you the erring-ones, thedeniers (of Resurrection)! You verily, will eat ofthe trees of Zaqqum. Then you will fill yourbellies therewith, and drink boiling water on topof it. And you will drink (that) like thirsty camels!That will be their entertainment on the Day ofRecompense! (56: 41-44, 51-56),إِن َّ شَجَرَةَ‏ الز َّق ُّومِ‏طَعَامُ‏ الا ٌّثِيمِ‏آَالْمُهْلِ‏ یَغْلِى فِى الْبُطُونِ‏آَغَلْىِ‏ الْحَمِيمِ‏خُذُوهُ‏ فَاعْتِلُوهُ‏ إِلَى سَوَآءِ‏ الْجَحِيمِ‏ثُم َّ صُب ُّواْ‏ فَوْقَ‏ رَأْسِهِ‏ مِنْ‏ عَذَابِ‏ الْحَمِي ‏ِم
