Taka Ishii Gallery continues to maintain and develop
an exhibition programme based upon the dual goals
of introducing international contemporary artists
within Japan as well as serving as an international
platform for the presentation of the work of Japanese
emerging artists and contemporary masters.
A yearly exhibition schedule of 8 solo and/or group
presentations is supplemented by the publication
of catalogues and artist books with an emphasis on
the documentation and promotion of the work of
emerging Japanese artists. The gallery works closely
with leading Japanese art writers, cultural critics
and institutions to provide a critical context for a
contemporary generation of Japanese artists both
within and outside of Japan.
