The gallery Hakgojae is one of the leading galleries
in Korea with a good reputation for its leadership in
artistic and publishing fields since 1988. “Hakgojae”
means “a house for learning old and create a new”.
Living up to its name, Hakgojae Gallery seeks to link
tradition and modernity through art. All exhibitions of
modern, contemporary and traditional arts organized
by Hakgojae for the last two decades have been
respected for their authenticity and originality.
Hakgojae is looking for artists who will long be
remembered for their tremendous contributions to
art and culture, and it arranges exhibitions that it
believes will be spotlighted in the history of art. It is
committed to becoming a place that is loved and
appreciated by the art community.
