Chi-Wen Gallery was founded by Joanne Huang<br />

Chi-Wen. Chi-Wen Gallery is the premiere gallery in<br />

Taiwan showing the best of contemporary Taiwanese<br />

art. Many of these artists use digital media such as<br />

Chen Chieh-Jen, Hung Tung-Lu, Peng Hung-Chih,<br />

Tsui Kuang-Yu, Wu Tien-Chang, Yuan Goang-Ming,<br />

Tseng Yu-Chin and Chen Shun-Chu. Chi-Wen Gallery<br />

has its pulse on today’s art while looking to tomorrow<br />

and represents artists whose work continues to grow<br />

in historical importance.<br />

Established by Dong Jo Chang in 2002, the<br />

independent commissioner for 2004 Kwang Ju<br />

Bienniale, The Columns has firmly fixed its reputation<br />

as one of the most powerful galleries in Korea. With<br />

numerous international exhibitions and occasional<br />

gallery talks, The Columns aims at introducing<br />

both emerging and established artists to the Korean<br />

art scene. The gallery also emphasizes on debuting<br />

its artists to the foreign market by taking part in many<br />

art fairs worldwide. The latest exhibition showing<br />

nearly 30 most sought after artist of our era, including<br />

Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, Alexander Calder to name<br />

a few, is currently drawing big attention from many<br />

art lovers not to mention the media. The Columns has<br />

opened another new space, ‘The White’ focusing on a<br />

group of Korean contemporary artists hoping to stage<br />

more creative talents to the art scene.<br />
