F2 Gallery is located in the cutting-edge CaoChangDi
area of Beijing adjacent to the world renowned
798 art district. The gallery is located in an idyllic
traditional courtyard and distinguishes itself by its
private surroundings, reflecting the very private
relationship that the owners have with the artists
whose work they collect and represent, and with
their clients.
F2 Gallery aims to contribute to the crosscultural
exchange of blue chip and cutting edge
contemporary art, in all its forms, between China
and the West. Furthermore, F2 Gallery also provides
specialist consultancy services to private clients,
corporations, public institutions and museums.
In October 2006, F2 Gallery opened a sister gallery
named DF2 Gallery in Los Angeles in cooperation
with David Desanctis.
Galleri Faurschou originated in 1986 by Luise and
Jens Faurschou in central Copenhagen, where it still
remains.
Faurschou opened a new 1.000 m2 gallery in
Beijing, China on November 24th 2007. Faurschou’s
new gallery is located in Beijing’s 798 Art District,
the most significant gallery area and the most
cosmopolitan part of Beijing. Recently, this area,
which previously housed the military’s electronic
factories has now been transformed into a culturally
vibrant area with both Chinese and international
galleries, private museums, designer shops, fashion
boutiques, cafés and restaurants.
