Since opening in 1982, Kukje Gallery has been<br />
representing the most current and significant<br />
tendencies in Korean and international contemporary<br />
art. The gallery has exhibited major international<br />
artists such as Alexander Calder, Anselm Kiefer, Eva<br />
Hesse, Anish Kapoor, Louise Bourgeois, Damien<br />
Hirst, Jenny Holzer and Bill Viola.<br />
Kukje Gallery also plays an important role in<br />
developing the domestic art market and promoting<br />
Korean artists abroad. The gallery has successfully<br />
introduced many of the most critically acclaimed<br />
Korean artists including Yeondoo Jung, Duck-Hyun<br />
