Marella Gallery was founded in 1994 and opened its<br />
present main space in Milan in 1998. Its activity is<br />
based on researching works across Europe, America<br />
and, since 2001, also China. The Gallery has been<br />
exhibiting paintings and photos, as well as videos and<br />
new media works. In 2005, Marella Gallery opened<br />
a new space in Beijing, inside the prosperous 798<br />
<strong>Art</strong> Factory area. It focuses on Chinese artists’ solo<br />
shows, on projects suggested by young international<br />
curators and on foreign artists’ exhibitions in order<br />
to promote a cultural exchange between different<br />
experiences.
