carrier <strong>in</strong> advance to cover all escorted <strong>vehicles</strong> <strong>in</strong> an amount not less than the m<strong>in</strong>imumcoverage required for the escort<strong>in</strong>g permitted vehicle.<strong>130</strong>.01-4 If an Umbrella Liability Insurance or Excess Liability Insurance policy is used toreach the limits <strong>of</strong> liability required by the limits <strong>of</strong> Bus<strong>in</strong>ess Auto Liability, coverage shallnot be less than $10,000,000 with respect to the comb<strong>in</strong>ed s<strong>in</strong>gle limits established foreach accident or occurrence. The umbrella or excess liability <strong>in</strong>surance coverage shallnot exclude any coverage afforded under the primary policies.<strong>130</strong>.02 Airport Vehicle Permits<strong>130</strong>.02-1 All Airport Vehicle Permit requests are processed, reviewed and verified byAirport Security prior to issuance <strong>of</strong> the appropriate Airport Vehicle Permit.<strong>130</strong>.02-2 Requests to operate privately owned <strong>vehicles</strong> (POV) <strong>in</strong> the Secured Area mustbe accompanied by a “demonstrated need” as determ<strong>in</strong>ed by the company and certifiedby the Authoriz<strong>in</strong>g Agent via the Vehicle Permit Application.<strong>130</strong>.02-3 All <strong>vehicles</strong> operat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the Secured Area must display an Airport VehiclePermit. Vehicles will also display a company logo with letters at least four (4) <strong>in</strong>ches highon both sides <strong>of</strong> the vehicle or display a 2’ x 3’ orange and white checkered flag on therear <strong>of</strong> the vehicle at a height <strong>of</strong> twelve (12) <strong>in</strong>ches or greater above the highest po<strong>in</strong>t <strong>of</strong>the vehicle. All electric carts must display a company logo or letter<strong>in</strong>g at least four (4)<strong>in</strong>ches high on the front <strong>of</strong> the electric cart. An exception to the Airport Vehicle Permitrequirement is any vehicle (e.g. baggage tugs) driven solely on Airport property and notrequired to be licensed by the state <strong>of</strong> Colorado. Permanent and Tunnel Airport VehiclePermit decals must be permanently affixed to the <strong>in</strong>side <strong>of</strong> the front w<strong>in</strong>dshield andcentered below the t<strong>in</strong>ted <strong>area</strong>. Annual and Restricted Airport Vehicle Permit decalsmust be permanently affixed to the <strong>in</strong>side <strong>of</strong> the front w<strong>in</strong>dshield on the lower left portion(driver’s side).Temporary Airport Vehicle Permits must be placed <strong>in</strong> the left corner dash.All vehicle permits must be visible from the exterior <strong>of</strong> the vehicle.<strong>130</strong>.02-4 All electric carts operat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the Secured Area must display an Airport VehiclePermit which will be permanently affixed to the front <strong>of</strong> the electric cart.<strong>130</strong>.02-5 Vendors, Contractors, and Temporary Airport Vehicle Permit holders may beassigned to and may be authorized only to operate on specific route(s).<strong>130</strong>.02-6 Airport Vehicle Permits may not be transferred between <strong>vehicles</strong>.
