Vehicles may not park <strong>in</strong> the follow<strong>in</strong>g designated <strong>area</strong>s, and may be issued a Violation Noticeor traffic citation. Emergency response vehicle(s) respond<strong>in</strong>g to an emergency are exempt fromthis rule.<strong>130</strong>.14-1 In an aircraft gate <strong>area</strong> so as to block aircraft access to that gate.<strong>130</strong>.14-2 In any location so as to block aircraft access to any taxiway or ramp <strong>area</strong>.<strong>130</strong>.14-3 With<strong>in</strong> ten (10) feet <strong>of</strong> concourse, term<strong>in</strong>al or service tunnel emergency exitdoors.<strong>130</strong>.14-4 In any <strong>area</strong> specifically marked “No Park<strong>in</strong>g” or an <strong>area</strong> <strong>of</strong> pa<strong>in</strong>ted hash markson pavement.<strong>130</strong>.14-5 In a manner or location so as to block or restrict access to a tenant’s leaseholdor designated work <strong>area</strong>.<strong>130</strong>.14-6 In any manner as to block <strong>in</strong> an emergency response vehicle restrict<strong>in</strong>g itsability to respond as required.<strong>130</strong>.14-7 Park<strong>in</strong>g is prohibited with<strong>in</strong> three (3) feet on either side (Secured Area side andPublic side) <strong>of</strong> the perimeter fence. No portion <strong>of</strong> a vehicle (e.g. bumper) can be with<strong>in</strong>this designated “clear zone.”<strong>130</strong>.14-8 Park<strong>in</strong>g is prohibited <strong>in</strong> traffic lanes, fire lanes, specifically marked <strong>area</strong>s, andwith<strong>in</strong> ten (10) feet <strong>of</strong> emergency exit doors or fire hydrants.<strong>130</strong>.15 Maximum Length <strong>of</strong> Baggage Tra<strong>in</strong>s<strong>130</strong>.15-1 Baggage tra<strong>in</strong>s operat<strong>in</strong>g on the ramp and vehicle service roads will notexceed a maximum <strong>of</strong> five (5) carts/dollies beh<strong>in</strong>d the tow vehicle.<strong>130</strong>.15-2 Baggage tra<strong>in</strong>s operat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the service tunnels and under the concourses orterm<strong>in</strong>al build<strong>in</strong>g will not exceed a maximum <strong>of</strong> four (4) carts/dollies beh<strong>in</strong>d the towvehicle.<strong>130</strong>.16 Vehicle Coord<strong>in</strong>ation Requests <strong>in</strong> the Secured AreaThe vehicle operator must coord<strong>in</strong>ate with the AOM or designee before enter<strong>in</strong>g the Movementor Non-<strong>movement</strong> Areas to complete work. Failure to coord<strong>in</strong>ate with the AOM or designee maycause the immediate revocation <strong>of</strong> the vehicle operator’s Driver Authorization and/or Airport IDbadge.<strong>130</strong>.17 Vehicle Weight Restrictions for Concourse Ramp Level FloorsThe Concourse A and C ramp level floor <strong>area</strong>s are <strong>restricted</strong> to repetitive wheel loads <strong>of</strong> 6,000lbs. per wheel, with the exception <strong>of</strong> the VSR drives through the subcore <strong>area</strong>s which canaccommodate aircraft pushback tugs with a maximum <strong>of</strong> 55,000 lbs. on 40,000 lbs. per wheel.Concourse B ramp level floors are <strong>restricted</strong> to tugs with a maximum weight <strong>of</strong> 100,000 lbs. on29,000 lbs. per wheel.9Revised Effective January 1, 2013Denver Municipal Airport System Rules and RegulationsSource: Official Web site <strong>of</strong> Denver International Airport (bus<strong>in</strong>ess.flydenver.com)
