SOME EVALUATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS ON VIET NAM ICTICT in Viet Nam is a infant economic - technical sector compared to many countries around theworld but has achieved a number of advancements recognized and appreciated by some internationalorganizations on ICT. Located in Southeast Asia, Viet Nam has always been appreciated not only theeconomy with high growth rates but also the ICT sector which develops from a limited capacity toimpressive rankings on the world ICT map.2.1 General rankings on ICTa) ICT Development Index (IDI)According to the ranking of the report on Measuring of Information Society 4 by theInternational Telecommunication Union (ITU) about ICT Development Index, Viet Nam continued torise 5 places from 86/152 to 81/161, ranked the 3 rd in the Southeast Asia and ranked 12/27 countries inthe Asia - Pacific region. In the past 10 years, Viet Nam had a spectacular breakthrough from position107 to position 81 with a jump of 26 steps.
