DO'S• Register your Ski-Doo snowmobile atyour nearest Licensing Bureau, whereState or Provincial Laws require it, andaffix Registration Plate to the vehicle.Carry your registration certificate withyou. It provides proof of ownership in theevent that the vehicle becomes lost orstolen.• Obtain your State or Provincial bookleton snowmobiling. It gives valuable informationon the neighbouring snowmobiletrails and the laws governingsnowmobiling in your particular area.• Always carry emergency materials andsupplies. Your local Ski-Doo dealer hasa Safety Centre prepared specially foryou.• Let every riding member of your familyread the entire Owner's Manual. Theknowledge and confidence gained willreduce the risk element.• Observe all posted snowmobile signs.Not all private landowners allow snowmobilingon their property. You can havejust as much fun, even more so, by travelingelsewhere.• Before you start out, check to be surethat you and each member of your partyare equipped with sufficient warm clothingand safety helmets.• When snowmobiling with others, limityour actions to the experience of themain body. Show the inexperience driverhow to properly handle at snowmobile.8• Use the 'buddy" system. Always travelwith at least one other snowmobile, especiallyin unfamiliar terrain or on trailrides.
