Remove console, disconnect sparkplug wire and remove spark plug (seeFig. 9).2. Check condition of plug.Normal color is "brownish" (See Fig. 10).If spark plug color is abnormal (black orlight grey) the engine is not runningunder ideal conditions, due to either;• Use of incorrect fuel mixture. (SeeFuel Mixing, page 12).• Carburetor incorrectly set. (See CarburetorAdjustment, page 21.).• Wrong type of spark plug.
