13HighlightSOLIDARITY FUND: AN IDEA ON THE WORK FREEZED IN 2011In this year 2012, the SolidarityFund, as the various structures ofCaritas Congo, operates accordingto the objectives that have beenarrested. The past year has beenmarked by activities and the SolidarityFund has produced an adhoc report. Following this annualreport, the year 2011 was that ofstructuring the cell SolidarityFund. This is to allow the ChurchFamily of God to express love andactive national solidarity towardsvulnerable populations in humanitarianemergencies.Activities carried out in 2011These activities have attempted torespond to requests from diocesesin the country and the contributionof Caritas Congo in terms of theInternational Confederation aswell as capacity building of responsibleresource mobilizationdiocese. The aim was to bettercarry out collection activities andfundraising in those dioceses.Regarding assistance, it should benoted that during the year 2011the association Caritas Congo wasable to mobilize a large amount ofseveral thousand dollars for theSolidarity Fund.
