Champneys, Mr. Follett and Mr. Kenward be appointed a Committee <strong>to</strong> audit theaccounts of the Conservancy for the current year and <strong>to</strong> report.Application For Telephone Line On Wych Cross To Nutley RoadThe Clerk submits an application dated the 25 th al<strong>to</strong> from the Post Master General with a plan for the Consent ofthe Board <strong>to</strong> the erection of a telephone line and 3 poles between“The Garde” and “Brooklands” near Wych Cross on the <strong>Forest</strong> Row <strong>to</strong> Nutley Road. It is resolved that the Clerkbe authorized <strong>to</strong> sign a Consent subject <strong>to</strong> the yearly payment of 1/- per pole.Mr. Snelgrove Claim To RightsThe Clerk submits a claim of Mr. J. Sydney Snelgrove of The Plottage Ryst Wood <strong>to</strong> be acknowledged as aCommoner in respect of his property, being part of Rist Land containing about 8 acres and White House Farm atQuabrook Gate containing about 10 ½ acres. The Clerk reports that having inquired in<strong>to</strong> the matter he is satisfiedthat the property inIt is Resolved that the Clerk keep the matter in mind with a view <strong>to</strong> exercising further pressure when a suitableopportunity arises.Ranger Kirby New BicycleThe Chairman reports that he authorized the purchase of a new bicycle for use of Ranger Kirby at the cost of £ 8:5: 0. It is Resolved that the Chairman be thanked for his trouble in the matter and that the cost of the bicycle bepaid out the General Account.Mr. R.H. Stevenson, LicenseThe Clerk reports that the license <strong>to</strong> Mr. R.H. Stevenson authorized at the last Meeting has been granted and Mr.Stevenson has paid the first Acknowledgement of 2/6.Miss Rumbold, Water PipeThe Clerk reports that the license <strong>to</strong> Miss Rumbold <strong>to</strong> lay a water pipe under the <strong>Forest</strong> land from Rist Wood <strong>to</strong>Yew Tree Hall has been signed, and Ranger Brown reports that the work has been carried out and the surface ofthe <strong>Forest</strong> res<strong>to</strong>red <strong>to</strong> his satisfaction.FinancesThe Clerk produces the Bank <strong>Book</strong>s which show that the balances are as follows:General Account: £ 131: 14: 22 nd Ranger Account: 28: 18: 5Protection & Improvement Fund: 160: 5: 8The Clerk states that since the last Meeting he has received £ 56: 4: 6 subscriptions <strong>to</strong> the 2 nd Ranger Fund.RateThe Clerk reports that the rate made on the twenty ninth September 1922 will be practically exhausted by the nextMeeting. It is Resolved that notice be given on the Agenda for the next Meeting of the Board <strong>to</strong> make a new Rateand that the Clerk prepare the necessary documents for the purpose.Applications For P.O.
