Installation9Speed adjust potentiometer installationInstall the circular insulating disk between the panel and the50K ohm speed adjust potentiometer. Mount the speed adjustpotentiometer through a 0.38 inch (0.96 cm) hole with thehardware provided (Figure 5). Twist the speed adjustpotentiometer wire to avoid drawing unwanted electricalnoise. If potentiometer leads are longer than 18 inches(46 cm.), use shielded cable. WarningBe sure that the potentiometer tabs do not make contact withthe potentiometer enclosure.
