MANAGEMENT
Dirk Beeusaert has worked for
Gimv since 1996. He has a law
degree from the University of
Ghent and also a special degree in
tax law and accounting (Vlerick).
He joined the executive committee
in 2001. He is responsible for
business development and
providing support with the legal
aspects of deals. He is also
company secretary and as such
co-responsible for the proper
functioning of the Gimv group.

THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Dirk Boogmans was appointed
Managing Director and Chairman
of the executive committee in
September 2003, following his
appointment as CEO in July 2001.
From 1998 till 2001 he was the
managing director of CFE, an
international building and dredging
group. Prior to that he worked
for 17 years at Gimv, heading the
venture capital activities. He is a
board member of BVA (Belgian
Venturing Association), CFE, P&V,
De Lijn and VEV-VOKA.
Alex Brabers joined Gimv in
1990 and is responsible for the
ICT business unit. He joined the
executive committee in 2001.
He is a board member of various
listed and non-listed companies,
including Telenet. He holds a
degree in Economics from the K.U.
Leuven.
