Paul De Ridder has been
a member of the executive
committee since 2001 and is
responsible for the Corporate
Investment Germany business unit.
From 1978 to 1991 he worked
at Continental Bank, primarily
in Italy and Germany. He is a
board member of various investee
companies. Paul De Ridder holds a
degree in Applied Economics from
the University of Antwerp and an
MBA from Antwerp Commercial
College.
Patrick Van Beneden has worked
at Gimv since 1985 and joined
the executive committee in 2001.
He heads up the Life Sciences
business unit. He is a board
member of various listed and
non-listed investments, including
deVGen, Avalon Pharmaceuticals
and the Biotech Fonds Vlaanderen.
Patrick Van Beneden has a
degree in Financial Sciences from
VLEKHO in Brussels.
Geert-Jan van Logtestijn heads
up the Corporate Investment
Netherlands and Corporate
Investment Belgium business
units. Prior to that he was in charge
of the corporate fi nance team of
Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory
Services in the Netherlands. Geert-
Jan van Logtestijn holds an MA in
General Economics and Marketing
from the Erasmus University in
Rotterdam and an MBA from
INSEAD-Fontainebleau (F). He
joined the executive committee in
2007.
Marc Vercruysse is Chief Financial
Offi cer and has been a member
of the executive committee of
the company since 1998. He is a
board member of various listed and
non-listed investee companies. He
joined the company in 1982 and
was successively Internal Auditor,
Senior Investment Manager and
Head of the Structured Finance
department. Marc Vercruysse has
a degree in Applied Economics
from the State University of Ghent.
