KošiceCentre of freight traffic (CFT) Košice is situated in the territory, whichon the main rail track Košice – Žilina borders with stations MaláLodina, Kysak and Kostoľany nad Hornádom. On the rail track Košice– Hidasnémeti (MÁV), it extands up to the state borders with Hungary,on the rail track Košice – Plešivec up to Barca and on the track Košice– Čierna nad Tisou up to Krásna nad Hornádom.In total, the district has 66 kilometres of rail tracks and 7 tariff points,which are, except for Malá Lodina, occupied by CFT employees. Inthe CFT district, the following loading and unloading locations aresituated: Malá Lodina, Kysak, Kostoľany nad Hornádom, Barca andČaňa. In the district periphery, the border crossing office Čaňa, stateborder is located. This border crossing station is manned by CFT Košiceemployees and its working hours are daily, in day shifts.In CFT Košice, stump wood, iron scrap, gravel sand, dolomite, concreteproducts, collected paper are predominantly loaded. Goods unloadedare mostly coal, steel tin-plates, white technichs, PVC pipes, prefabelements of concrete, chemical products, building material, technicalsalt.Track sections of handling trainsCFT provides transport of handling trains in track sections:Čierna nad Tisou – Michaľany: 1 pair of trains (Monday to Saturday),Combined transport terminal (CTT) Dobrá – operations,Košice – Michaľany: 1 pair of trains (Monday - Saturday),Košice – Krásna nad Hornádom: 1 pair of trains (operates on Monday,Wednesday, Friday, - Košice – Čaňa: 1 pair of trains (Monday - Friday),Košice – Veľká Ida: 2 pairs of trains (operates Monday - Friday orMonday - Sunday),Moldava nad Bodvou – Medzev – operation (operates on Monday,Wednesday, Friday).Technical equipmentLoading platforms in the CFT district are located in the stations Kysak,Krásna nad Hornádom, Čaňa, Kostoľany nad Hornádom. Wagonweighbridge is situated in Košice (Transporta - bridge 16 m/100t;dynamic wagon weighbridge – bridge 4,2 m/150 t), Kysak (C 1160– bridge 10m/45 t) and in Čaňa (dynamic wagon weighbridge – bridge4,2m/150t).
