He is also projectdirector for the work of WETA production partner KenBurns, including the upcoming film PROHIBITION.Lois VossenLois is founding series producer of INDEPENDENT LENS. John joined <strong>PBS</strong> in 1994 from KAET inPhoenix, where he held a variety of positions in productionand <strong>program</strong>ming, including <strong>program</strong> director.Sheryl WuDunnSheryl, the first Asian American reporter to win a PulitzerPrize, is a best-selling author, business executive, andlecturer. Sheryl is also co-author of “Half the Sky: TurningOppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide,” a NewYork Times best-selling book about the challenges facingwomen around the globe. It has been featured on THEOPRAH WINFREY SHOW, THE COLBERT REPORT, and manyother network television shows. She also helped launchthe Half the Sky multimedia effort to create a thoughtful,effective philanthropic strategy that includes an onlinesocial action campaign, a documentary series, and atelevision special.Tukufu ZuberiTukufu has been with HISTORY DETECTIVES since itsinception. A professor at the University of Pennsylvania,Tukufu holds a doctorate in sociology from the University ofChicago. He has authored or edited several books, articles,essays, and reviews and has received numerous awards forhis academic work.
