MEM LUB ® Lubrication Systems Basic Program SettingsMLBSET-0307 Copyright©2006 PLI, LLC All Rights ReservedMEMOS - Setting The Output RateMEMOs are the method used to set the output rate of the MEMOLUB ® Lubricator. Onceprogrammed, the MEMO is screwed into the bearing and remains there unless it is decidedto change the output rate. The MEMOLUB ® Lubricator is then screwed onto the MEMO.This turns the lubricator on to eject lubricant at the rate of output programmed.MEMOs are supplied with 3 colored plastic rings (black, white and red) and a black plasticring holder. The timing of lubricant ejection cycles is determined by which ring orcombination of rings are placed in the ring holder. The number of ejection cycles per day, determines the volume of lubricant entering the bearing. With each output cycle, 0.63 cc’sof lubricant is injected into the bearing. The rates of daily lubricant output using differentring combinations are shown in the following chart. To inject daily quantities of lubricant into your bearing other than those shown in the BasicSettings chart, refer to Fine Tuning Your Lubrication Program. Using the “Stroke LimitingWashers” it is possible to select from 52 different rates of injection.MEMOLUB ® HPS Lubricator Basic Settings (The Simple Approach)Note: B = Black Ring / W = White Ring / R = Red RingMemo ProgramModel120 HPSModel240 HPSModel480 HPSRings(color)StrokesPer DayCC’s perCycleDaily Outputin CC’sMonthsTo EmptyMonthsTo EmptyMonthsTo EmptyRWB240.6315.10.51RW120.637.60.512RB40.632.51.536R20.631.33612BW1.50.631.04816W10.630.661224B0.5*0.630.31224* Ejection cycle every other day (48 hours)MEMOLUB® User's Guide Page 23 of 39 PLI, LLC
