Now it is also possible to download it free via the Internet.“A digital driver’s handbook inthe office computer is a practicalcomplement to the printedversion stored in the truck. Thisway it is easy to quickly accessinformation about the vehicle,”says Stefan Borjesson, ManagerDriver Information at Volvo Trucks.For vehicle owner and dealeralike, it can be a good idea tohave a digital driver’s handbook,for instance when the vehiclechanges owner. And if the printedversion gets lost, there is alwaysa backup available while a newprinted handbook is ordered anddelivered. If the owner wants thedriver’s handbook in printed ordigital form in another languagethan the original version,that too is not a problem.“The downloadable driver’shandbook is ordered free ofcharge via the Volvo Truckswebsite by filling in the chassisnumber, model designation,contact details and requiredlanguage.
