We did better: after analyzing <strong>the</strong> data andconducting tough negotiations, we reached a multiyear deal across 70 countries,representing a substantial decrease in rates. We also identified ways to avoid costs.Thanks to <strong>the</strong>se measures, <strong>the</strong> company looks set to save US$3 million.In addition, we can quote numerous examples of CWT clients who have addressedground transportation within <strong>the</strong>ir overall program. For example, by switching some airvolume to rail, one CWT client recently shaved US$2 million from its US$18 millionannual program in under eight months.
