CWTvIsIon Issue 3 - January 20083CWT Vision: How do you see 2008 unfolding for clients?Dave Kilduff: In 2008, costs will continue to rise for ground transportation companies, although the market will remain highly competitive. Environmental concerns will takeon greater importance and suppliers will be under pressure to “green” their offering. Thiswill be true especially in the United States, which is lagging behind Europe. Rail and roadsolutions will be increasingly sought out as an attractive alternative to air, as airportcongestion and delays continue to plague travelers. I believe ground transportation willgrab travel managers’ attention more and more as they realize the potential to createvalue.
