INPREFACE1895 there was begun, in the AmericanBee Journal, adepartment of "Questions andAnswers," with Doctor C. C. Miller in charge,the object being to give information to readerson special subjects, perplexing to the beekeeper,and not specifically covered by the different beeliterature.In the twenty-two years that Doctor Millerhas answered these queries of subscribers (he isstill conducting this department) almost everysubject in beekeeping has been touched. Hiswide experience, his inimitable style, and theclearness with which he writes have made theseanswers invaluable.The present volume is a compilation of athousand questions, culled out of many thousandsand arranged in alphabetical order forconvenience.
